Today I wanted to help out some secret world fans. The Secret World Legends has released and I've read online that people are having trouble playing the original version of The Secret World, some saying that the game automatically updated to legends and now they are unable to access the former version of the game. So I'm going to show you how to install both versions of the game, but keep in mind you do need a Funcom account with a registered copy of the original secret world.

Step 1. Installing Secret World Legends (Shared World)

Your going to want to go to your steam client and find the secret world legends store page, once you've found it go ahead and start installing it, after its done make sure to run the launcher and let it update all the way, once it's finished the launcher will say start game.

Step 2. Installing The Original Version (MMORPG)

In this step you need to go to your web browser and go to the secret world Funcom account sign in page, once signed in AS long as you have a registered copy of the original secret world, you have a button that says download
installer, go ahead and start downloading the installer, once that is finished make sure to run the installer. Through out the installation process it may say that the installer detects another version of the secret world, but this doesn't matter, so if it asks to uninstall the previous version click no. You want to do a custom install and just make sure you are installing the secret world into a different location on your hard disk then your secret world legend install folder. Once this has fully installed and updated it will say start game on the game launcher.

Step 3. HAVE FUN
