Hey all! It’s Thursday night while I’m writing this, but I’ll probably post it on Friday night.. Seems my “9 - 5” wants me to work on Friday this week. Beside’s, it’s probably better to do it this way anyway. Writ before actually publishing it. .e some shit, let it sit for a day, give it a fresh look before publishing. Seems more professional anyway. And one thing I know about professionals is they make money. And it would be nice if I didn’t have to rent my time out to another entity to do that. So maybe give me an upvote on this or two That’d be cool.
Anyway, so one thing that’s been on my mind this week is people posting shit saying I’m gonna vote for Biden because he won’t have me kidnapped by secret police.” And I’m just like “What evidence do you have for that?” Because I have no reason to believe that the same shit happening under the Trump administration would not happen under a Biden administration. For one thing he hasn’t even said anything about it that I’m aware of. You’d think it would be easy to call this kind of gross violation of constitutional rights, basic human rights, and common decency, but this old fart can’t seem to find the words.
Is it because Obama signed the 2012 NDAA, giving the President the authority to indefinitely detain whoever he wants without a trial or even charges? Is it because of his role in creating the modern police state? So I guess if we do assume that he won’t have protesters kidnapped by secret police, then the worst thing he’ll do is build up an even stronger police state for the next Republican president who will most likely be worse than Trump. And gods know how many interns he’ll rape in the meantime. And yes, I know Trump is probably doing that right now, so clearly whether or not the President is a rapist isn’t that much of a concern for either side. Because those are the choices we get in our shining beacon of Democracy. Two old white racist rapists. Is this seriously the best America can do? There’s over 300 million people in this country, which means if just 1% are remotely qualified to be President that’s over 3 Million people. I mean have we even considered just picking a random homeless person off of 3rd and Pike? I’d given them a shot!
By the way, has anyone heard from the 2nd amendment worshippers on this whole thing yet? You know, militarized federal agents going into cities and snatching protesters off the street, detaining them without charges? Isn’t this literally the scenario they all said they were stocking up for? I mean, this is being done over the objections of governors and mayors. What ever happened to states rights? Y’all should be standing with these protestors protecting them whether you agree with them or not because that’s what you keep telling us America is all about. You preach about how important free speech and gun rights and states rights are but refuse to stand up for them when it really matters. Which is gonna suck for you because they’ll be coming for you next. But don’t worry, they’ll probably let you take your gun to prison with you because they know it’s just a fetish and you were never really gonna do shit with it. At least not against them..
I don’t know. Maybe now all of our elections are just going to be about who gets to use secret police against who. And of course people are going to keep saying “This is not the time to vote for a third party!” But of course it is! It always is. I feel like it’s more important than ever. I mean, if we’re really expecting politics to save us, then we have to start insisting on better options. Until more people are on board with that, all I can say is Fuck it, before it fucks you.
