The secrets of beatitude: We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin. 1 John 5:18

Being born from above is one of the secrets of beatitude, the apostle John explains. The disciple describes God's love for us (Agape), the love projected to the whole creation of God, and then explains to us that living in that love means being born again, having a new spiritual childhood.
And this gift that God grants us by his mercy implies something very special, the freedom of sin and the spiritual protection: "We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.", 1 John 5:18-20

God's love frees us from sin because it makes us complete as Jesus is complete: "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect," Matthew 5:48. God's love teaches us to stop acting for selfish material gains to start a new life, which is eternal or contemplative life, the perfect returns or brings with it what is perfect: "This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God", John 17:3.
And this new birth that is united with this perfect love gifts us with it the spiritual protection, the guidance of God. Like the three wise men who avoid Herod's trap (Matthew 2:12), or Joseph who is warned in his dreams that he must go to Egypt with the child Jesus (Matthew 2:13-14). The ability to see in the occult and to perceive the future are abilities related to God's guidance.
