I decided to become active today. Spent time out in the yard mowing and pulling weeds. About two hours all together. Had a phone call in the middle and got side-tracked on the computer during that time as well. So, around 12:30, finally got a shower and shaved. Took dog to groomers for her six week hair cut. She needed it. While that was happening, I practiced organ. Afterwards, brought her home and got about 45 minutes of piano practice in. Wife worked until 6:30, so spent some time outside reading. Made Pork Chops, Fried Apples, and hashbrown potatoes for dinner. Watched some NCIS, and now writing this up.
On the Organ, I practiced a lot of stuff I learned last week. Kyrie from Mass of the Convents, the first of the Kauffmann preludes from Book 1 of @partitura's Harmonishce Seelenlust (sorry about the spelling), Bach's BWV 631. Also started Kauffmann's Fugue on Ein Feste Berg--worked out the fingering. Began the 2nd Kyrie from the Mass of the Convents. Tried to bring back Alain's Variations on a theme of Clement Janequin, Buxtedhude's Toccata in F major, and Bach's BWV 615 for a possible use in a church service this weekend (A Lutheran church is allowing me to come in and play for their service this weekend.)
On the piano, I recorded Bach's Fugue in C major from WTC I. Also worked on memory work of two separate Songs without Words and Chopin's Mazurka Op. 7 No. 1.
