It has been a day full of traveling. I started off the day recording four movements of a seven movement work by Charles Dibley for the Sonic Groove Live weekly contest. I uploaded the first two for this week's contest. You can find them here:
Afterwards, I practiced the Dorian Fugue for my postlude on Sunday--I think it will go very well--and went to give blood. Apparently my blood type is in high demand and I am happy to help out. Plus it gave me forty five minutes to just sit and read. I am currently working through Albert Pike's Esoterica, a book above some of the symbolism found in Freemasonry. Had lunch at an all you can eat Chinese buffet. The next plan was to get my phone fixed as I cracked the screen on it the other day. Unfortunately, the store I was taking it too ordered the wrong part and I get to wait another day before it can be fixed. It's only one day, not a big deal. It will make me realize how reliant I am on my phone...Once I got home, I took our older dog for a short walk.
I am going to practice piano this afternoon, spending most of my time on Schumann's Carnaval. I have a meeting tonight starting at 7 pm, so it will be a late evening.
