UK Secretary of State Amber Rad said that "ordinary people" do not need full encryption of communications. She urged companies developing messengers to remove it because it helps the terrorists.

The Conservative Party representative wrote this at the Telegraph, specifying that "normal people" do not need such encryption, and that IT companies have to do much more to help authorities cope with security threats.

Comprehensive encryption involves encrypting communications and messages in such a way that they can not be read by anyone other than the recipient, including the company whose encryption technology is being used, and even more by the dedicated services.

WhatsApp by default encrypts all messages in a similar way. Facebook messenger offers full encryption as an option. Similarly, Google and many more.

According to Rad, during the recent terrorist attacks in the UK, it has been extremely difficult for special services to access encrypted messages from terrorists. "This encryption reduces our capabilities," the minister added.

Far from it, all experts and experts agree with this approach.
