Hello STEEM!
I guess my first post really should be something meaningful and exciting like an introduction of my life and career, but this will have to do. I like to think that people within the crypto industry have been around long enough, and seen enough hacking of blockchains, coins, wallets, and platforms enough take the security of personal and private information seriously. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not seem to be able to find any form of 2FA for locking/securing my steemit.com account. I currently work for a large tech company for which this platform has set its full target on (can you guess who) and it would be crazy if someone was able to hack into the core and jeopardize the security of private information in the way that steemit seems to have been attacked. I do not fault steemit or the team, in fact, I believe they have done a fantastic job of getting this platform and chain off the ground. If 2FA is in fact enabled here, could someone please explain why it isn't easily accessible? If it is not, why? I mean seriously!? If people are using this to make thousands of STEEM dollars a day to then power it up, it seems like it would be such an easy way to prevent a hacker that may have compromised passwords from actually being able to do anything without 2FA turned on for transfers of funds at the very least.
Perhaps someone should do a nice little writeup & analysis like I saw @pfunk do for the account creation UX/UI. For those that do not know what 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) is:
Can you log into your owner account? I am locked out of mine and I would like to know if it is site wide or just me. Also, I agree. steemit not having muli-factor authentication seems like a no brainer. I takes a small amount of time to setup.

Actually now that you mention it yeah, why there is no 2FA?

Apparently it is suppose to be in one of the upcoming updates. Ironically posted after I put this up -- glad to see they are at least taking basic steps for people to lock down their accounts.
