In his long military career, General Aziz employed various employees, instructional and command hiring officers. He was former Director General of Military Training and Doctor Command and GOC of Border Guard Bangladesh. He got a huge experience of command at different levels of the military. He was in charge of 33 infantry division as GOC, and he described the BGB Sector as Sector Commander of 6 Artillery Brigade and Brigade Commander 33 Artillery Brigade. In the first phase of his career, he ordered an artillery regiment and one BGB battalion. Under the command of the army force, he is serving as the Chief of the Army's 'Quarterly Secretary General'.
In his artistic military career, he appointed several important workers. He took active participation in the counter insurance operation of Chittagong Hill Tracts (GSO) 3 (Operations). He served as a Infantry Brigade Brigade Major, AHQ Military Training Director GSO-2, and GSA-1 of AHQ Pay, Pension and Allocation Directorate. General has served as an instructor of Artillery Center and School and Military Intelligence School for more than 7 years.
In 1995-1996, he worked very well as a military observer in the United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observations Mission (UNIKOM) during the anti-war situation. He was a military helper of the commander of the Sudan (UNAMIS) in 2005-2006.
