As someone who collects old programs and a lot of abandonware, it's really hard to be certain what are you downloading when you find it somewhere on the internet. Seedr.cc is a great sandbox like environment to check a bit more what are you planing to download. Also, it's in the name - if you need to create a fast seed for your files, this is it.
Not to mention that it really helps if those old torrents are badly seeded, Seedr downloads them super fast, if there at least one seeder you'll get it pretty fast. Inspect it, download it.
There's one more function, and it's a blast - you can stream watch uploaded/downloaded videos.
Best thing about it? It's free, but there are certain paywalled functions, so you can subscribe to it monthly if you need more of everything. For casual users, it's gold. You can also get some free space expansion by sharing the good word about it.
If there's one thing I would like to see in the future, it is when magnet link or torrent is added, to select certain items from it and download only them, not the whole torrent pack.
as far as I know, they are a real deal. although they only give 3 GB of storage they don't limit the download speed and that's the great thing about them
