See What I See #4

Hello, Steemians! I'm still being a depressed hermit, so let's poke around the apartment, shall we?

I see a sleepy Maggie.

I see my new handkerchiefs that came in the mail today hanging up to dry after washing. I like my gradual replacing of disposable habits (which save money, too). I had made myself four hankies of four different materials to see what I liked best. They all have their ups and downs. The thick ones are nice in that you can honk away in them without getting your hand wet, but they also hold cat hair like it's their job, which doesn't feel nice to blow your nose whilst getting cat hair all on your mouth, lol. So middle ground cotton seemed to be the best compromise, and that's what I just bought an eight pack of. I might eventually sew myself more later, but I have approximately ten thousand projects that need doing, and use up the four faster than I do laundry (because allergies). So I treated myself!

I see my purple Wandering Jew plant has flour flowers! The green one doesn't seem to make flowers, at least that I've seen. Sorry for the poor quality, this Kindle doesn't do close ups very clearly and the flowers are tiny.

I see Chairman Meow. Obey the kitty!

I see a cupboard full of kitty food, which makes me feel better (those flats of Instinct canned also came in the mail today). I stress when I need cat supplies way more than when I need human supplies.

In this vein, I see that Yuan does not care for the canned version of the venison from the same brand that makes his venison kibble. I had bought a couple of cans to tide us over until the order of his usual rabbit-and-pork canned got here today. This is saying a lot: Yuan usually loves any wet food that isn't raw (he hates raw. We tried many kinds years ago). Duly noted, Machree!

I see what is left of the giant National Geographic stack I've been taking to Little Free Libraries!

I see my first tomato sprout! 🍅 It was snowing again this morning (rain now), so all seedlings are still indoors.

I see my "how to build community" poster (it's in the bathroom. Toilet reading? 😂).

And finally, I see my shopping list. And you thought I only used chalk on sidewalks!
