A basic hard drive recovery designed to help with scatability issues with bitcoin was to reach the Bitcoin Block Number 501451. The block was erected on December 28 at approximately 18:00 UTC and the team project announced its official launch following this:
Original SegWit2x
The SegWit2x movement began in May 2017 as a direct result of the New York Accord (NYA). The idea behind this agreement, originally signed by more than 50 leading Bitcoin companies, was to compromise on how to develop bitcoine for a wider audience.
One of the parties, "small blockers", wanted to implement a second-level solution called what was called "sew watt" which was actually done on August 24, 2017.
It was the first part of the agreement. The second part of the transaction was designed to please "big blockers" so that the size of the bitcoin block could be increased to 2 megabytes. However, this was never followed, the agreement was directly violated.
The fork was due to come on November 16, however, as developers opened the real code of the rigid range, a very negative response immediately came from the Bitcoin community.
Due to lack of protection against repetition, as well as due to the general concerns about the possible hard fork protection, a full movement against the SiW V2X gave birth, which was correctly called #NO2X
After several weeks of controversy, the boundary was canceled on November 8, a week before its scheduled arrival. The team responsible for creating code for SegWit2x has protected the plan from lack of consensus
SegWit2x 2.0
The cancellations, apparently, lasted only for so long, because the fork was clearly revived by a different group of developers at the end of December. A website, mission, roadmap, and team was shown behind the new fork to take place at Bitcoin Block 501451.
