DEFINITIONS :

• BIP 91:Creator James Hilliard, BIP 91 is looking on to lock-in SegWit2x's SegWit update before the month of August 1, making it compatible with BIP 148. For BIP 91 to lock in it requires 80% of bitcoin’s miners to signal support for a lock-in. The signalling period is shorter compared to BIP14.

• Segregated Witness(Segwitt):It's soft fork that,if activated it will increase network capacity capacity and elimination of unwanted transaction malleability.To be activated it It requires 95% of miners to signal support for SegWit.

• Segwitt2x:This initiative is supported by startups and miners.It seeks to put into practice SegWit via a SFORK,while dedicating into increasing block size through hard fork in a month or two.

• BIP 148:Makes use of an older mechanism for making changes to bitcoin.Tge mechanism is called a user-activated soft fork (UASF).To support the change it requires upto 50% of mining pools to back up the change.If the support is not backed BIP 148 could activate and split the network into two.

• Bitcoin ABC: This is a Bitcoin client version that dissolves Segwitt and sanctions a dynamic block size.
