I played this to completion way back on my Super Nintendo Pal Version in the 90s, Japanese text and all that.
It was a miracle without FAQs online to reference to, was kinda shock myself as well when i completed it.
I would play this game again at some point now with all the English translation created by fans, since I have no idea what the story is about until i read it up online years later.
I don't know why Squaresoft/Square Enix would not make an official English translation at that time and till now. To me, this game is one of the best on the SNES SFC.
For those who haven't tried it. Give it a play with the English translated version and see for yourself how good it really is.
Maybe with the remake of the recently release Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 2, it would spur Square Enix to remake Seiken Densetsu 3 as well.
