We all know that self-belief makes us stronger, more confident and less likely to make mistakes. Many athletes use this very same self-belief to become the best that they can be. If you don't believe in yourself, then you will have a hard time believing in your dreams.
Some people are scared to take a stand in their own thoughts because they feel like they are being judged. There is nothing wrong with this in and of itself, but it is limiting our self-confidence. When we begin to believe that what we are doing is right, and when we continue to believe that we are good at what we do, then we are creating a life that we will not regret in the future.
We need to see our own thoughts first before we decide what we think. It is very possible that what we think about ourselves is the very thing that will hold us back from achieving what we want to achieve.
Help yourself grow by making sure that you are right. Start a journal and write down the things that you feel when you do something. After you do it a few times, start to note the negative thoughts that pop up as well as the positive ones. This will help you see how you truly feel about your current situation.
The trick is to write every day about how you feel each day and then read through your journal so that you can analyze what you have written and determine if it is accurate. As you analyze your entries, start to identify the traits that you are looking for. Things like "love me," "hate me," "not enough," "need to do better," "don't like"too much." Make sure that you feel the same about yourself every day that you write down your thoughts.
Once you begin to see these great things happening around you, your confidence will start to grow. You will be able to see yourself as the person that you are. It is not something that you have to tell anyone. It is within you and can only be found when you allow it to.
It is not important to convince other people that you are a great person and are worthy of praise or give yourself awards for your self-belief. All that matters is that you believe that you are a valuable person and value yourself. You have to do this. Don't allow others to judge you based on what your inner voice says. Think about it, what is the point of all this if you believe it is all false? It's better to believe it and let yourself believe it than to try to convince anyone else.
