Stay Relevant. 301st steem post.

in self-help •  7 years ago

I end all my posts with two words. "Stay relevant."

Why?

Because I want people to succeed. At the root of it all, I hate seeing people give up. That's why I'm here. Maybe someone will see something that can help them stay relevant.

I'm not a great blogger, but I'm a good mover. I like to keep moving and making plans and making progress. I want to encourage others to do the same because that's how society gets better. We all succeed together by being better individuals.

I guess that's another big draw of crypto besides the trustless nature that I wrote about before. The open source and progressive nature of it. It's all out there in the open for anyone to make it better, and it's all up to us, the free market, to decide on it organically.

Staying relevant is key here. The opposite of it is becoming irrelevant. You don't want to be a floppy disc. You don't want to be left behind after the wave of human progress. You want to be part of what's happening. So do I, that's why I'm here. Let's all make sure we're relevant and we're being the best humans we can be.

Stay relevant y'all

Nate

Hi @nateonsteemit, thanks again for commenting on a recent post of mine. I was wondering about shadowbot you are running, how the app works, things like that. Catch me anytime on discord cryptkeeper17#6637, or if you chat here that's fine too. Thanks!

Shadowbot is really cool, but it's important to weigh the costs of it. To get any benefit, I'm only able to use about four upvotes per day. It uses the collective steem power of the group (casters) to upvote the posts of the members according to their contribution of steem power and voting power.

Funny, that is exactly what I am doing manually with our curation trail. Lol, there is a lot of work there, I just really like to make it as fair as possible too. I try like heck to leave half their voting power available to vote on other things, none of us came here to join a cult, well at least I didn't so yeah it's good to have that extra.

You log in to shadowbot with your private posting key and it does it all for you. I'm honestly not 100% sure how it all works. I only know the general idea but it's worked well for me.
