By this time, you most likely have lots to do with little time to do it. Don’t let it all come crashing down. Ask for help. There’s nothing that says you have to go this alone. It may be nice just to have some emotional support. If they got a ton to tend to, getting things done on both your checklists is a win-win.

You desire to leave this year as tidy as you can get it; you got last minute loose ends to tie up. You hope to get all the fun stuff in before you start making your resolutions - it’s OK to ask for help.

Keep in mind, not everyone will be able to help; however, it doesn’t mean you get frustrated and deem those you reached out to unworthy of your time or efforts in the future. Everybody’s got their own thing going on. Keep trying. Someone’s bound to be able and willing. After all, remember that you can turn to your *Base Buddies, who may be willing to be more than a listening ear.

It’s probably true that everyone is busy with their own things, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. The worst someone can say is “no.” The best is “yes.” Always thank them for their time and keep on truckin’. As the Beatles suggest, “[you] get by with a little help from [your] friends.” Do it and enjoy it.
