Hi, I'm Cree. I recently found out about steem and thought it would be a good place to start sharing the story of my homestead. People have been asking me to blog about my grain bin home for awhile.
Some years ago, I visited Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage and saw a home built in a grain bin. I've been fascinated by the idea ever since, so I left my full time job and sold my house to build this place in the country.
As I figure out the steem system I'll be posting details and pictures of the process and how I handled things like installing windows in round walls and not melting inside a tin can during a Missouri summer.
