This is such a controversial subject.
I'm against self voting on comments. It's gaming the system and is not doing any good for the platform. It's hard to counteract it though, so I hope you are right that content will win out in the end.
I do think it's OK that we vote on our own post though, as I dont see this as gaming the system.
I know this is all very relative and subjective where we draw the line for whats OK and whats not.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
