No matter which family were you born in and what starting point you are from, you will definitely achieve greatly after long-term persistence of doing one thing.
Qing Dynasty was full of corruption, decay and shortcomings, however some young persons studied in USA sent by the dynasty had made significant achievements. Some became great journalists and some famous political celebrities. How could they make it? They origins from less developed country, full of poor and narrow-minded people. What made them so strong and talented? Self-control was the key element which led to their success.
Some learned English a couple of years and became language masters. Their articles were even better than most of native speakers. Practice made perfect. Conquering those shortcomings, born in non-English country and rooted Chinese way of thinking, they finally mastered English like native speakers. Some studied US political systems and deeply knew its society reality, in which big capitals dominated major economy of this country. They saw its nature from surface. Although lack of complete education in their childhood, they were able to quickly bridge the wide gap between two countries.
