Hello everyone!!! :) What's up?
We’ll I am very glad to introduce myself again here. The last time I had my introductory is quite brief but this time I will make it into something that is more precise and meaningful.
INTRODUCTION
WHO AM I?
A simple question, yet I find it hard to answer. Sometimes you would ask yourself, “how far you’ve known your own self?”

I have so many questions to myself before, and one of those is the purpose of my existence in this world. But as the time goes by, everything has an answer.
And now I will officially open myself introductory…
My name is Jobelen M. Vergara, 22 years of age, and a 3rd year education student at University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue. I am also a working scholar of the said university for 3 years already. I came from a very simple family, with a simple living. I currently living now at the city but originally came from the not so really mountainous area of Barili, Cebu. I didn’t have the chance to enroll immediately on my college right after my high school due to financial problem. I stop for almost 3 years before I got the chance to pursue my studies. I worked, for the rest of those years and then I’d realized that I want to achieve my dreams in life. I want to finish my studies and hopefully one day wears a black toga during graduation.
So, I decided to find my own way. I look for some universities who offer some scholarship for those deserving students. And luckily, I found one, I applied and Yes! I was hired.
From that day on, my journey towards my tomorrow starts.
My beginning towards in achieving my dreams, in pursuing my studies is never that easy. When I applied for the scholarship, it took 1 year of waiting before I’d finally granted for the scholarship. By the way, I’d applied for a working scholar of the university, the current university where I studied now. I thought that time that my application is no longer accepted, since I year had already passed. But, right after my last day of my work that time I got a text message from the HR of the university, informing me about the scholarship I applied with.
Indeed, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON…..

Simple
God fearing
Hardworking
Optimistic
Outspoken
Friendly
Sweet
Jolly
Trustworthy
Likes:
Chocolates, ice cream, reading books, watching k- dramas, travelling…
Dislikes:
Don’t have something particular in terms of food, but when it comes to person: I hate those, pretentious, backstabbers, liars, fakes….
WHO INTRODUCED STEEMIT TO ME?
In the university that I enrolled with, STEEMIT is very known, from students to teachers/instructors. I know a lot of steemians in the university especially in the department I assigned with. A special thanks to @rejzons for introducing steemit to me; and one of my friends and also a working scholar in the university, who also part of this community.
Why I took this opportunity to be one of the steemians?
First, and foremost, at first I had my hesitations to join on this community, but as the time goes by, knowing my friends had a successful blogging and steaming here. I got courage to join, since I am also into blogging, writing and so on. So, I said to myself, why not try.
In here I believe that you’re not only posting just to express your thoughts or just to have some past time but also you are earning on what you post.
And I am very much lucky to one of this steemit family!!!
