It’s 7:30am at a wilderness located next to a river. I can see the mountains through a mist of clouds and I take a cool snap. Suddenly, I realize what this place is providing me. A true sense of who I am. Here, inside this cabin while the morning awakens the surrounding, it seems I am becoming aware and waking up to my true self.
I start thinking of the connections from the past that might be the reason for who I am today. The first thought that strikes me are the first connections I truly value when I was a child. I realize that I could relate to those few friends/experiences/places that transformed me to what I like and enjoy today. The one friend I remember playing with when I was in second grade. The first experiences of attraction that confused me and transformed me to who I am today. I slowly realize the importance of visiting a quite and scenic location that provides me the ability to look at life from a unique perspective realizing the level of self awareness this place provides me today could not have happened if I was not surrounded today with my friends and family.
It feels I identify myself with a true self awareness that kept popping up in my mind in the past and confused my thoughts that produced a reflex of diverting me towards ignorance. I feel I have achieved a new level of consciousness for myself today.
