It is true that the problem of violence against women appears in our days very often - and I would say almost as often as it appears - as an object of study that occupies different specialized knowledge. And today we find this phenomenon thematized by jurists, psychologists, psychiatrists, neurophysiologists, or sociologists, among others, each from his specific point of view. It is not a question here of challenging the relevance that such perspectives undoubtedly have. But what does seem worrying is that the result of this practice by plots, so to speak, can lead to the atomization of the problem itself; and that this be done by replacing the analysis of gender violence with the description of the violent act without further ado. Or, said in a few words: that is finished by obviating the cause of the effect.
