Motivation is a perennial concept!

Why do we brush our teeth daily because otherwise our breathe starts to smell, the process lasts for a bit and afterwards we have to do it again. Same is the case with motivation, just like brushing our teeth motivation is a process that needs to be done again and again. On a daily basis.

We are human after all. We generally tend to forget what we learn today after some time. So, how do we expect ourselves to stay driven day in and day out, the only way to achieve this it is by repetition. As we all know the famous quote, “Repetition is the mother of all skill.”

How can we stay motivated forever, sounds absurd, doesn’t it.

I know it is hard but it is not impossible. If it was then we won’t have any successful individuals ever. People work hard everyday and hence are successful, the thing is that these people are rare and this the reason why we don’t see many like them.

The best way to stay motivated is by writing down why you want something. What is your purpose? What is your why? This method is extremely helpful in conquering the mind when the ‘dip’ comes. In the beginning we are ready and raring to go but after sometime we forget our purpose and lose the momentum. The best way to conquer this is realizing why are we doing this? Where will this take us? This will keep us on track and provide us the motivation we need.

The second and the most important component is listening to material that motivates you. There is no shortage of this on music streaming platforms and on YouTube. Every morning listen to 10 minutes of motivational content and you will be surprised with the change you will see in your personality. I have personally noticed myself becoming more dedicated and driven.
