You spin me right round

HOW TO:

Take that Camera set the settings to 1/15th - 1/100th point it at yourself and then spin in a circle while taking lots of shots.

That's the general concept though it can be harder in practice. For every 20 shots I tend to get one in really goof focus like this one.
I myself tend to try one shutter speed and then keep lowering it until i start to fail more often then not then go back up in shutter speed.

What's also neat is that as you do this 360 the lighting and background tends to change for every shot so they're pretty diverse.

OTHER SELFIES WITH A DSLR

Most of the spinning shots weren't in focus and that's the nature of the game getting one panning/spinning shot to work is pretty solid.

Otherwise the other selfies i did were pretty fun... i rarely do them. I should probably do it more often.

I like the use of effects - are there any apps for the smartphone universe that allow you to adjust the aperture or exposure?

I was thinking about this when writing the post. I think it's possible to do with a SmartPhone.
My samsung has a pro feature that allows me to change the shutter speed. Then you can expirement with different settings.

SUCH a fun selfie - what a cool idea! I'd have a go myself but I can't bear spinning round in circles!! (Looking at this makes me think of kiddies' roundabouts - I imagine it would work brilliantly on one of those!) I also really like the one with the sun behind you. I love shooting those, particularly with my camera phone :o)
