Lol. Republicans didn't spend much money on it and to me it felt like their best pickup opportunity this cycle between Gaza and Mike Rogers not being a bad candidate.
I wouldn't be surprised if Trump told the GOP to blacklist Rogers. Rogers had criticized Trump in the past.
I know Republicans took the Senate, but the 2024 map was so awful that I'm surprised it wasn't worse. Democrats won 4 out of 5 of the battleground Senate races this cycle in an election where they lost the presidential race in those 5 states.
Gallego and Rosen overperformed Harris by a large amount. Slotkin and Baldwin less so, but just enough to win. Casey lost by a hair as he didn't overperform Harris all that much in Pennsylvania.
