Re watching Metropolis and Re playing Megaman X Dealing with A.I. and human machines

There are re current themes in pop culture. Megaman came from Metropolis. Sentient robots as metaphor for dissociated and apathetic human slaves. A machine made out of human image, just as man is made in the image of gawd! Haven't seen all of the Metropolis movie, there is a tower of Babel scene so far! The rift between the slaves who built the tower and the powerful who thought of it made it so people were no longer able to understand each other even though they spoke the same language.

Metropolis is an old movie from 1927. I have the full length edition. I have been watching it in segments to enjoy it a bit at a time. It was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was a child. It was played on the music channel. I found it to be a very intriguing show. My mom had these ideas of cloning and time travel in her schizophrenia. This movie helped me out cause it has robots that act as human clones. It is a sci fi movie from way back when! I remember the apocalyptic element of the movie with all the flooding scenes in it. That was my favourite part. I haven't got to that part re watching it yet.

I am also playing Megaman X. It is an older video game about a sentient robot. I first played Megaman when I was in the group home after being taken from my mother before my dad got custody. I was 11 then. Megaman was a good game. I used videogames back then to help me cope and get my mind off my situation. I played the old nintendo. I saved up my allowance of 1 dollar per day when I lived with my ma to purchase a nintento. I saved for 100 days. I became good at videogames and it helped my reflexes to some extent as a kid.

Megaman X is a sentient robot put to sleep for many years until other robots lost control turning into Mavericks. A time when sentient robots broke the robotics rule that no robot should harm a human. So Megaman X's job is too put these Mavericks out of their sentient robot miserable hell. Dr. Light created Megaman and Megaman X. In Megaman X's time in the future Dr. Light has passed on but left capsules for Megaman X to obtain when he is finally released.

I have Megaman X Anthology for Playstation 2. It has 6 Megaman X games on it. I finished the first 2 so far and onto 3 right now. Megaman X 3 is good cause it has animation sequences in the game. Nice touch. Megaman X is good compared to regular Megaman because of the dash move and you can scale walls.

It's interesting these themes of robots, humans and sentience comes back. I think of it all as metaphor for the human condition. If people get treated like machines they will go 'Maverick' and revolt. Or worse turn against themselves and their environment because they resent their captivity and domestication. No one likes to be treated like a number. But that is the relation people have to the government and institutions. It's time to revoke the mechanisation of humans!! Being treated like a domesticated slave rallied around by money is an alien treatment to a living sentient creature. In reality money doesn't matter to live. It is only a means of trade and value. People do not equal money. We are not robots made of zeros and ones.

Cast off the caste system with comedy! Marshall McLuhans says the comedian is a man with a grudge! aka a sad song. Make a set of professional standards for comedians. So we don't have to hear the same kind of jokes. Do something that acknowledges the grudge in a way that cancels it so it can be enhanced! They will no longer be able to wear their grudge like a crown.

My friend was telling me today what if everyone cheered up with the hemp industry and Marijuana!! So many people would get rid of harmful drugs to treat many conditions. Stop the synthetics industry from polluting the world with going back to making hemp into everything!! I would be willing to give up Starbucks and McDonalds for recreational pot and new jobs in the hemp and marijuana industry! There are solutions out there that could cheer many people up and turn the situation around!! So here's to staying cheery in a grumpy world, staying on the sunny side of morbid and taking a sad song and making it better!
