Sepia Saturday on Park Ave
This is a post for Sepia Saturday hosted by @old-guy-photos, before he started this challenge I seldom did Sepia Edits, but it is something I am getting into and doing for this challenge, often when I did Mono edits I went for more blue and white rather than any other variant of Mono, but I am finding Sepia tones work well with a few shots so having fun with it.

This is a shot taken with my iPhone one day when I was walking along Park Ave, taking a bit of a detour on the walk tot he office as I was;t quite motivated to start work just yet, and I came across this intricate and interesting door, I think it was on a church building but I cannot remember which one at the moment
I guess one call this door quite distinctive so this will also be included for the Distinctivedoor tag started by @tattoodjay, Ohh yeah that's me LOL

And keeping with doors on in this case more of an entrance to a building this is the front of one of the buildings also along Park Ave, as may have guess I took this when I was walking to catch some of the festive decorations around NYC in December, and I shared a similar shot in color at that time, I decided to try this one in Sepia for this post, and quite like how it came out.

Such great objects for photography, church doors and their lovely decorations. If you have the opportunity try booking a vacation to Florence Italia, nicest looking doors there on the Baptist building from il domo. Will have a search trough my collection if I can find them. Have a lovely weekend.

I'm guessing Catholic church since the inscription mentions the parish. Great shots. That first door is impressive. I have to admit in sepia with the children and angels ... it feels like a mausoleum lol. But I'm thinking school.

Admittedly, I was not a huge fan of sepia before this challenge, or more the fact that I didn't really know what to do with it, but, both of these doors are incredible looking in sepia!
Who knew??? Not me.
They give a totally different feel to the scene, doesn't it? Thank you so much for showing off what we can do in sepia. I am still having trouble figuring out what will work, but, these are truly special looking in sepia.
