This is a quote that I find kind of amusing and strange at the same time. Because, just like I walk around here on earth thinking and trying to keep my life together, so are everyone else. Just like I see everything happening in this world through my own eyes, so are everyone else. In other words, the world is made up of self-centered people just like me. Isn't that strange?
Not only does this put things into perspective, but it also helps me see the value of other people. What makes me think that I should be more worth than anyone else? So, yes, a person is a person, no matter how small or big, talented, or lacking talent... they are people! And so, we should honor, help, serve, and do our best to help the people around us.
Of course, the world will always be self-centered and we will all focus on ourselves. But still, we should do our best to try to see the people around us as well, and to understand that life is about more than just being me! Maybe you can be the person who brings true value to the people around you?
