Seven years with H&R Block, no tax returns. Seven years with bootleg Atlanta tax filers. Plenty returns.

Seven years of installment agreements can be frustrating, but we were a two-income family with no kids.

The money going to the State of Georgia was only a loan. Take, take, take all year, then wait for April 15 to get it all back.

I tried the Atlanta bootleggers the first time I became a father. Bingo. My biggest return was $7,000. The IRS promptly asked for $3,500.00 back.

I even tried to write off my goddaughter. That's when my first bootlegger quit. I guess that drew the line for him. 2010 was a particularly trying year.
