Why. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Subjugating myself to the horrors and cruelty that is trying out mostly nasty ass beers for you savages. Well, probably because I'm retarded. But, that's besides the point. Anyways, I'm back for day 4 of this seven day beer challenge. The past several days of reviewing beers haven't really been all that great. But, thankfully the first day was so shitty that it really can't get any worse unless I go into the sewers and drink straight up raw sewage. The beer that I'm going to be reviewing today though wasn't brewed out of a toilet unfortunately, and it surprisingly is fairly pleasant.
This beer is called Wild Blue, it is a premium lager that has natural blueberry added in for some good flavor. After yesterdays disappointment, I figured this one would probably be a generic, shitty beer as well. Thankfully, upon opening it I found out I was quite wrong. It smelled pretty good, and overall it tastes much better than any of the other beers which I've tried so far. It has a fairly moderate blueberry flavor to it which is tasty, though you can definitely still tell that you're drinking beer with the bitterness of it. It also has a kind of grain like taste to it which is hard to explain, it kinda reminds me a bit of a blueberry cereal flavor mixed with beer I guess. It definitely doesn't taste like a cider or anything. It has an 8 percent alcohol content as well, so you can get a buzz pretty quickly off of downing a couple of these I'm sure. I even had my pocket buddy Boozepool out with me while I was taste testing, and he approves!
I would definitely say this beer was a step up compared to everything else I have tried over the past few days. While this isn't the tastiest beer I've ever had(I actually can't even remember the name of the beer I loved the most, just that it was an acidic/sour beer), I was pretty happy with what I got. I can at least say that one of the days of this review wasn't a total train wreck on my taste buds, which I'll take considering the shit that I've had to drink so far. To those of you who just want a short recap on my opinion on this specific beer, I leave this picture below summarizing it for your consideration.
Did I enjoy this beer?
Yes, actually. Though I'm sure it wouldn't be for everyone.
Would I try it again?
If it was offered to me, sure. I honestly think this beer would be killer for making beer bread at home though, so I'd use it for that too.
How much did it cost?
It ran me $1.78 along with all of the other beers thanks to a deal I got at our local Krogers
Alright, it's time for me to nominate another person for this beer challenge. I'm going to nominate my buddy @saywha to come join in on this challenge. He spends most of his time posting artwork, some chickens which he is planning on pimping out around town, or just random posts occasionally on whatever he wants to talk about. He also curates for OCD, and is overall a good guy. So, be a good guy and come suffer alongside me with these beer reviews, dude. I can't be the only one who hates his life on here, god damn it.
The rules for the challenge!
- You have to try a new beer every day for seven days.
- It has to be a beer that you've never tried before
- You must take a photo of the beer and write a few words about it
- You'll have to nominate someone to participate everyday
- If you're a social outcast who has no friends to invite, you just join in on the fun. You have every reason to drink.
- Use the tag "#sevendaybeerchallenge" as one of your five tags.

I don't like it when people enjoy their beers during this challenge.
