Nice looking 80’s BMW - e28 5 series

Steepshot is great, however some reason (nodes?) I couldn’t get it working for a couple of days. No worries. Continuing from day 3 now ... no explanations needed just 7 days of black and white shots from your own daily life ....

Nice... I love that car !

@dalexx, the 80's were a golden era for BMW. I believe well kept original ones will be worth a fortune in years to come.

80's and 90's, they already are worth a fortune, the e30 m3 is 100k+, up from 30k a few years back, even the 325i tripled in value the past few years.

I had a chance to buy an e30 M3 EVO for £7500 around 2002 in excellent condition. People were worried maintenance and insurance costs would be too much. I was too young, insurance would have been too high, stuck to my post-grad old bangers. A mk1 Golf GTI also passed through my hands, for £200 it needed £1500 of work, more, so I disposed of it. Shoulda known, folly to youth it was probably worth more if i just put it in the VOLK mag class-ads. Young and dumb. Didn’t even consider it would be worth anything near so much by now.

You can still find old BMWs and Porsche’s for next to nothing that are worth restoring and keeping tho .... just certain ones are highly coveted, e30 M3 being great example!

Though

It is also great to accept the old one again.

Happy Steeming.
