I highly recommend it. The range is still not exceptional, but 200km is very good for a city car. I have driven it some long distance and stayed over night to recharge, but for people who usually only drive around the city it is perfect and costs so little to run. @demotruk posted a few weeks ago comparing the costs to other types.

Since I changed jobs we mostly don't drive far. We could keep the other car for longer journeys and be mostly electric. Will definitely consider it when we next buy

It was €28'000. Costs about €2.30 a night to fully charge and a full charge gives us between 100 - 120 miles depending on a few variables including how fast we drive and the temperature (it runs better in warmer weather).

Electric cars is good for short distances like city driving plus it is cheap to operate as it uses battery power. It is very silent too. We could see in the future that they would extend the battery life even more and it will good for running for long trips.
