Again, I know the B&W Challenge isn't about talking about the image, but this lady I feel needs some introduction. She is the female Rhinoceros Beetle Scientific name Xylotrupes ulysses. Her partner has a very distinctive horn that looks so much like a rhino that's where they get their name. They are a member of the scarab family and the rhino are among the largest in the world. These guys hatch from eggs into grub type lavae and then form pupae before emerging as adults.
