🔍 Ship-Wide Scavenger Hunt: My 7-Day B/W Photo Entries Explained.

As promised I will now explain the photos I posted for the Seven Day Black and White Photo Challenge.

On our recent cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas my son, who was curiously exploring every little object placed around Central Park on Deck 8 while we ate dinner, noticed that there was a random object inside one of the brass pillars along the walking path.

HUH? There's a What in Where?

Now this was not my first time on the Allure, and I have walked this ship end to end hundreds of times before. Sure I've noticed these brass pillars before, but I just thought they were sculptural in nature - just random decorations place to give off the nautical feel and provide up-lighting at night.

So I took a look, honestly expecting to just have an intense white light blasted in my eyes as a prank by my son. WOW! There really is something in there! Naturally I pulled out my phone, lined it up to get the best angle with no glare, and snapped a picture.

I told my son that I have seen more of these things around the ship and that we needed to go on a mission to find them all and see what's inside each of them. We agreed to do a ship-wide scavenger hunt the next day and these are a few of the tiny art exhibits we found hiding in plain sight.

There were several others we found that I did not showcase in the challenge along with slide viewers we found that I will share in a later post. So there you have it. If you are ever sailing on an Oasis class ship with Royal Caribbean, be on the look out for these hidden gems.
