In my opinion, your posts are worth more than they're getting. However, the sub-linear reward curve makes upvoting them frustrating because if I'm the biggest upvoter of them the value of my vote is cut in about half because of the curve. If you used a bid bot to get them up to the $3 level, then I could upvote them more effectively. At that level, you are very unlikely to attract accusations of bid bot abuse. The vote value of your small upvoters wuold be guaranteed to be higher than now. You could recycle the same money in and out of bid bots by powering down the SP part of your rewards to re-use it in new bids.

This shit is what it is now because of the curve. We have to adapt.

Hi Thank you for this. I just enjoy taking photos and if people like them that's a bonus. I'm not really into the technical side and the bot thing. However, I do appreciate your comments and that you are trying to help me. I will think about it. Thank you again.

Ha ha! @rossfletcher and I are on the same page, I guess! I also read it as Grifters. I like your reading of it better, though. I love the little turnstile gate.

I read the comment about the upvoting and bid bots, and I agree that your posts are worth way more than they are getting, but I am with you as far as just throwing stuff out there and seeing what sticks. I am hopelessly lost when it comes to the technical side of things. If my stuff gets noticed, great. Otherwise, I have a few faithful readers I can chat with and that's good enough for me. I didn't get into this to get rich. I'm just enjoying myself. Sounds like you are too!

Well I've expanded my vocabulary and I will try to incorporate the word grifters into my everyday chit chat. Nobody will know what I'm talking about but nothing new there!

It's always nice to earn a bit of money but I always thought Steemit was a marathon not a sprint. I too don't understand the voting bots but I think I will keep posting and see what happens. Always good to get help though.

On a different note - the photos I think might take off don't and the photos I'm not so sure on, people seem to like. It's the same with thumbnails - people tend to like something I haven't chosen. It's a funny old world.

Grifters! Seems to be quite the thing nowadays ; )

I still prefer critters. In fact, I might name my little flat it. It might help the posties deliver my mail correctly. They seem to want my neighbour to have it for some reason.

Critters is much better! I'd be tempted to toss a brick at the grifters

I wasn't familiar with the word so had to google it. 😊

Haha... Grifters are to be avoided
