Today I would like to show you some photos made during several stays in Seville, the capital and largest city of Andalusia. I hope the partly low quality of the pictures won't harm the experience of reading this article. These days the camera of my mobile phone was simply not good enough yet to make better pictures. |

Finally, I would like to show you photos from the wedding of very good Spanish friends in 2010. Out of respect for the privacy of the other guests I only show pictures of us (my wife, @kobold-djawa, and I) and our friends. The Guadalquivir supplies the background.

Immer wenn ich solch imposante Reiseposts auf Steemit sehe, bin ich geneigt zu glauben, daß ich mir selbst den Reisestress gar nicht antun muß, und einfach "auf Steemit" reisen kann. Ja, das reisen ist nicht so meins....
Aber natürlich ist mir klar, daß das schönste Foto wohl nicht mit dem Blick durch die eigenen Augen konkurrieren kann! ;-)

Guten Morgen lieber @jaki01 :-))) Eine tolle Gegend, oft versuche ich mich da hinein zu versetzten wie die Menschen damals gewohnt haben und wie die "Lebensregeln" in solchen Zeiten waren, a ls noch die Kirche da sehr viel Kraft und Einfluss hatte. War kein Zuckerschlecken für viele Menschen, denke ich. Toller Bericht mit vielen Eindrücken. Mach dir keine Sorgen, wenn mal Bilder nicht so perfekt sind. Wir sind hier ja nicht auf einer Galashow, sondern unter Menschen ;-) Hier steht für mich das Menschliche an erster Stelle. Super Bericht und das Bild mit dem Bier ist grandios, Salut !

Du könntest mit dem Zug von Stadt zu Stadt fahren. Die Verbindungen sind sehr gut, preisgünstig, und die Züge sind bequem ... lass dir aber genug Zeit, um jeden einzelnen Ort zu genießen.

Das ist ein guter Vorschlag. Zumindest zwei Städte sollten sich in den veranschlagten 8-10 Tagen ausgehen.
Mit dem Zug unterwegs zu sein ist für mich ohnehin die bequemste Art zu reisen. Am liebsten würde ich auch Andalusien von Wien aus mit der Bahn bereisen. Aber ich fürchte, das wäre dann doch zu umständlich und zeitaufwendig.

Im Juli, in dem ich diese Reise ursprünglich vorgesehen hatte, sind schon einige andere Aktivitäten geplant, sodass sich dieses Zeitfenster anbot. Aber vielleicht verlege ich den Spanienbesuch in den Herbst . Die Möglichkeit, erstmalig in der Nebensaison Urlaub zu machen, ist eine der Freiheiten, die das kommende Jahr mit sich bringt :-)

Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm - das ist ja ein früher Post :-). In Spanien war ich schon oft aber leider noch nie in Sevilla. Als eine der grössten Städte Spanies, steht dies aber noch auf meiner Reiseliste. Ich liebe die spanische Kultur und vor allem auch das Essen mit viel Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. Klasse Fototour durch Sevilla! Da lese ich doch wieder den Perfektionisten... Du musst dich nicht entschuldigen für die Kameraqualität, das war halt vor ein paar Jahren noch der Stand, allerdings finde ich die Fotos doch sehr schön und vor allem sehenswert! I'd like to visit Spain someday. Perhaps when my kids are grown up I'll be able to go. There's so much history in that country. Seeing all the economic and political turmoil going on there makes me sad. I hope things get better for the people of Spain soon. They deserve to have a better life.

Beautiful city with a lot of buildings with ancient styles! There are many places that are very amazing. The Seville Cathedral is very large and elegant. The river view looks peaceful and wonderful. The Plaza de Espan is really impressive, I absolutely agree with you. The flowers are beautiful and those trees are big and very amazing. Your photos can make me feel refreshed… Great shot!

Erstmal cool das du auch von dem Aufenthalt viel berichtet hast. Du hattest ja vor einigen Monaten schon auf diesen Post hingedeutet als du über die Zwischenstation „Madrid“ geschrieben hast. Die Bilder sind sehr beeindruckend trotz „schlechterer Qualität“ (liegen ja auch ein paar Jahre zurück).
Auch finde ich es immer sehr schön, wenn persönliche Bilder mit dabei sind, weil man die Artikel liest und oft nicht richtig im Klaren ist wer dahinter steckt (wobei das natürlich auch was hat).
Würdest du einen Aufenthalt in Madrid oder Sevilla eher bevorzugen, wenn du in beiden Orten noch nie warst und nur einen der beiden auswählen könntest. Und warum würdest du so entscheiden?

Also, meine absolute Lieblingsstadt ist ja Málaga ... Wenn ich zwischen Sevilla und Madrid entscheiden müsste, würde ich Sevilla wählen, weil es auf mich einfach noch exotischer wirkt: Die Wärme und Sonne, der Geruch nach Jasmin überall, die noch während der Herrschaft der Mauren errichteten Gebäude ...

Schöner aufbereiteter Bericht über deine Andalusischen Erfahrungen :) die Kathedrale erinnert nicht irgendwie an die Kathedrale in Florenz, sie hat eine ähnliches Struktur. Habe ich damals auch meinen Bericht drüber verfasst.

Ah, Sevilla! I lived nearby in Jerez de la Frontera and visited a couple times. It's a beautiful city, Sevilla, but a little touristy. La Giralda and the Plaza de España are particularly impressive.
Nice photos, particularly the second one. I like that composition because of the way the shadows fall across the plaza. Nice work!

Without a doubt Spain is a beautiful country, it has a lot of culture and its architecture is amazing.
Sevilla gives credit for this, the giralda, the plaza, they are really beautiful places. I would like to go!

I don't mind that coz it's top quality images you taken from mobile camera. Seville at night totally romantic and tremendous looking. Calm light seems. Surrounding area shown their proud with huge old trees and beautiful flowers and plants. River, Cathedral beautiful. Inside and outside of Seville cathedral so awesome. It's gorgeous creations. Glorious decorations golden to my eyes.

I pay attention to orthography, grammar and formatting of the text, as well as to the accuracy of the sources I provide to support my points of view.
