In some ways I've been stalled on the project shown in this photo since before I moved to Mexico, over two years ago. It was a huge dress given to me in Oregon and I've recently been sharing my adventures here on Steepshot about working on the top.
Until today I honestly had a vague idea at best on how I was going to finish the bottom, but now I'm about halfway through preparing bits that will make a multilayered bottom.
The sewing machine is something I got for 300 pesos and it has one stitch that it does like a boss despite its small size.
For reference, here's my other posts about this dress.
