Are you the best lover in town? Then you have to study sex!

Sex is like car driving: everybody performs it above average. At least, everybody thinks he performs it above average. The bad news is that the average has a strange mathematical property: roughly half of the people are above the average, the other half is below it. 

It is 50% that you are a below average lover.

If you never measured your performance, you cannot know it better. And, of course, you never measured it because it is not really measurable. Still, you have a definition of the good lover in your mind, and you don’t know what happens in the bedroom of your neighbour. It means that it is 50% that he is better than you.

The problem is missing feedback. Yes, you get feedback from your girlfriend, she usually likes what you are doing. At least she likes you so she accepts you in bed. She knows that it will make both of you happy if she enjoys what you are doing, so she will learn to enjoy it. But are you really better than her previous lover was, or just different? You don’t know.

We simply don’t have enough information about the average to say that we are above it.

The only thing we can do is to learn constantly. And the good news is that it is possible! Just like with car driving, we can learn to be better lovers. We need good advice and a lot of practice. Practice alone is not enough. Sex is vastly more complex than you may think after watching some porn.

 Sex is like dancing: everybody can do it, but only a few can do it like Chris Brown.

One more thing: Did you ever get the feeling that you cannot enjoy sex to its full potential? Maybe your girlfriend seems to enjoy it better. I had this feeling for 15 years and I have thought that this is normal.
