There's nothing inherently hypocritical about being pro-choice and anti-Roe.

The question of whether or not abortion should be legal and the question of whether or not the constitution has something to say about that are two completely seperate questions.

I recognize how it feels liking the outcome of a case and therefore wanting to support it, even if the outcome aroze first, and then the court worked backwards to try and justify it.

Being somebody who was always supportive of gay marriage, I totally get that inclination, even if that's not how the judiciary is supposed to work.

I can't find it any more, but this morning I saw a meme that something along the lines of "to make men pro-choice, just tell them that child support is roughly 25% of their annual income".

What sexist bs.

Sure, there are some dudes that are jerks and absentee fathers exist in far too high of numbers, but to pretend that men care more about money than their own children is insulting. I'm a father, and I can say that as imperfect as we all are, not all men are monsters.

Like... I imagine in this person's mind, all the men attend this toxicity convention where we all force women to make us sandwiches while punching holes in drywall, and say things like "It'd be great if my wife and children were dead, so I didn't have the expenses that come with my responsibilities."

I don't know who the target audience is, but if it brings any guys to the pro-choice side, they're definitely the worst examples of my sex. Probably not a good tactic to advance your beliefs to start off insulting half of the human population.

It's stupid, insulting... and ultimately counterproductive.

Like, without saying anything about the issue itself, "it'd be better for you if your kids were dead, and that's why you should support my cause" ain't gonna win many people over, and anyone it does win over isn't someone I'd want on my side, personally.
