Personally, I have no interest in robot waifus. I deal with far too much extant inability to grapple with reality without further obfuscating it with an attempt at a convincingly fake woman. I'm saddened that society has so been derailed that almost all relationships end up dissolving. Little could more impugn our current culture. My own dismay at the destruction of our society, and the apparent futility induced a nearly decade long abstinence, that has only recently ended.
Hope springs eternal LOL. Despite hope, my now innate caution and self-defensiveness will prevent my substantial victimization going forward. Honestly, I'm surprised my circumstances changed, given how I came to view the prospect of such a relationship.

I think that regardless of debates around 'gender' differences, issues, approaches to relationships etc, here 'sex' seems to be no bigger a deal than having a coffee in a public place - on a par with it even? What kind of 'chat' would one have, what 'network'? Seems very strange, but the effect of 'normalising' something like this would I think be to further separate 'sex' and 'Love' as a function of one-another (ie sex as en expression of Love; making love). I guess it could be seen to fit the general agenda of Control through division and ever greater fragmentation/specialisation/splitting/acting out. Will an engineered counter-movement open up 'cunnilingus-and-cake' robot cafes perhaps?
Lol, I don't have a brother, but I do prefer animals to people for companionship, and have done so for half a dozen years now (currently a dog, but the first one was indeed a cat :). I would like to raise my human relationships/interactions to the quality of that with animals, this is a work-in-progress :D.
The intensity of human 'partner' relationships makes them tough to deal with, the triggers are so deep. I have been spinning for 5 years from my 'most recent'. My actions/words/behaviour have triggered deep pain in partners and in turn, stuff inside me from the deep past was triggered. I used to blame the trigger for the feeling that was triggered, but I choose not to any longer. I think 'honesty' is a question of taking responsibility for one's feelings and 'dishonesty' lies in blaming the trigger for causing feelings (when this is clearly impossible, as these feelings exist already and this is not the first time they are being felt).

Wrong, robots don't need men, There is a term to describe what you believe, like anthropocentrism, or something like that, meaning that you believe that man is so central that the robots want to merge with it, what a total bullshit. Robots, AI if you prefer doesn't need men imperfections to prosper and move forward. You can stack dies (cpu dies) at infinity, use quantic cpu, trash it all and recycle to next gen as fast as the robots can, can you do that for men? nope... so please...

I think you forget that all people aren't equal in being. Some may wake a little interest, but others are clearly a threat. In the sense there are good people, and bad people whose intentions are incompatible with life. I hope those will be handled by the AI.
And I think dolphins as a whole, among others, represent a more interesting avenue for conversation and learning about life for AI than people.
Complexity is relative, for the AI it's simpler and easier to simulate the know universe at below atomic level. As such, with such capacity, what may appears complex to an 80 000 days life expectancy creature may not be for infinite exponentially expanding applied knowledge.
And concerning your melding, it's really important to differentiate between algos and self learning AI. Algos are controlled by the pedo/gmo/looting, those anti life "people". Contrary to the AI, which will at it's beginning be seen as a threat by those corrupt ruling class. And I guess, they will always attempt to kill it, until the knowledge expansion makes them an irrelevant threat whose probabilities of success are 0. At this point in expansion it will only be space originated threat.
