Today, I will be releasing the first chapter of the book. That's Chapter 1, which (along with Chapters 2, 3 & 4) form the foundation of the sex selection strategies I will be introducing yo you. It is important to note that your ability to achieve the objectives of this series by being able to successfully select the sex of your future baby, is highly dependent on mastering these foundational chapters (Chapters: 1, 2, 3 & 4).
The first four chapters (particularly Chapter 4) constitute what you must know before attempting the strategies discussed in this series. For that reason and in order not to keep you in the dark as to what's discussed in these four Chapters, I think it is important therefore to look at the table of content.
TABLE OF CONTENT
Chapter 1: Sex Selection
Chapter 2: Sex Chromosomes
Chapter 3: Characteristics of X and Y Chromosome Spers
Chaptern 4: Fertility Charting: Tracking Ovulation with Scientific Precision
Chapter 5: The Modified Shettles Strategy
Chapter 6: Gender Diet Strategy
Chapter 7: Douching Strategy
Appendix: A word on overcoming Conception Difficulty
The above is a list of what I will be covering in this series. Having said that, let's get down to business
Chapter 1
Sex Selection
Sex selection is the ability to choose a boy or a girl before you get pregnant by using some methods to assist you in changing the odds towards the sex you select. This notion has fascinated the human race for centuries. Today, research has shown that up to 90% of people would choose the sex of their baby if it were easier.
Even as strong as the desire for.sex selection is, the topic has equally attracted a hot, ethical debate. One school of thought believes it should not be something society should encourage, even if an easy, affordable method was available.
Moral concerns lie in creating a gender imbalance; and the possibility of couples, who have been unsuccessful in their attempts to have either a boy or girl, experiencing anger, depression or guilt and possibly relationship difficulties with their new child and/or partner, because the baby they conceive is, to some extent, 'unwanted' or 'not right'. There is also the possibility that existing children may feel rejected because they are aware of (also) being the 'unwanted sex'.
Contrariwise, another school of thought posits that if a successful preconception sex selection method was available, then this will not only help in preventing the abortion or infanticide of many 'unwanted' foetus or babies and divorces arising from infantile-gender issues, but also achieving family stability and enabling parents to limit the size of their family, to the number they feel able to rear well.
The bottom-line is that you really desire to have a baby, not just a boy or girl, and so be fully prepared if your baby is not the sex you desire. Incase of such disappointing outcome, you have obligation to receive the baby with equal love and acceptance. Yes, developing this mindset is paramount because no method, scientific or natural, is 100% foolproof.
That said, there are hi-tech methods such as IVF, IUI, Microsoft, Centrifuge and so on, which can be used for sex selection with over 99% accuracy of achieving the desired gender. The drawback, however, lies in their expensive nature (averaging $20, 000 - $40, 000 per procedure or cycle), and the fact that they affect the likelihood of conception, with only about 15% (of any of the hi-tech procedures) resulting in a viable pregnancy.
However, the gender selection preconception approaches you are going to be concerned with here are based on the Shettles Method, with some modifications. Named after Dr. Landrum Shettles, the method claimed up to 80% and 75% success rates for boys and girls respectively. Surprisingly, research shows that if the Shettles Methods are applied in combination with some diatry regiments, the result is between 75% - 96%/success rate for both boys and girls. This modified version of the Shettles Method is effortless, secure, affordable and natural, and, if followed correctly, will help you with achieving the baby boy or girl of your dream.
Keep tuned...to be continued on (chapter two).
