The Soul Destroyer coldly watched the last form as it shrivelled and toppled, still, once it lay on the ground.

“Fool - I needed you to die so that you free me to go in search of the next six worlds for me to destroy. You have each served your purpose, except for the one who never lived to speak. I will not allow that to happen again - I refuse to allow any miserable wretch to rob me of what is my due.”

It looked up at the stars; probing, calculating.
