The Great Aaron Rodgers Does it Again 🏈 🌞

In the STEEM POWERED fantasy football league, it meant that @pittsburghhodlr will beat Wafflesnsyrup, if they can fade a big game from Robert Woods tonite.

In real life it meant that the Packers beat the Bears, and Aaron Rodgers added another chapter to his storied legacy, in a heroic, hobbled, comeback win against a division foe.

Whitney Houston decided long ago never to walk in anyone's shadow, and I think Aaron Rodgers probably did the same.

Basically what happened is he was injured and whisked away on a cart when the Packers were trailing 10-0, and then it quickly turned into 17-0 when their backup QB kept getting pwned by Khalil Mack.

After halftime, now down 20-0 after a Bears field goal, he re-joined the contest and threw on essentially one leg (he couldn't plant and torque off of his left), and led an unlikely comeback to win 24-23.

When he does great things, Rodgers feels epic and good.

You can kind of sense it in his demeanor, that he doesn't feel like he needs to downplay how great that was.

I'm the same.

I feel epic and good when I answer an email like this:

There's a lot of confusion and hysteria surrounding climate issues

and I feel really fired up and in the zone about it.

It's like there's a debate over whether or not we need to be hysterical. Whether or not there's a looming crisis and a cause for grave concern.

But this is a misdirection of environmentally concerned energy.

strategy / counter-strategy

If you're the banking system, you know that you can not stop Bitcoin.

So what do they do? They exaggerate it. They pretend that "blockchain technology" is this all encompassing wonder-drug that will soon change all facets of how we do everything.

So now, whatever interest and energy would tend to find its way into Bitcoin will be confused by these thousands of booby traps and this awkward exaggerated narrative, and they succeed at doing a little bit to confuse the momentum and delay the inevitable tipping point.

In 50 years the Ethereums and the Cardanos and the this and the that will be gone (or a relatively minor thing that no one cares too much about), and Bitcoin will continue to be more commonly used and eventually the next paradigm of what we use to keep score.

You can take that to the bank, and shove it up their ass. Because that's just how it is. (You can disagree with me, but you're wrong.)

It doesn't matter if there's a looming crisis or not.

Because the things that would offset the crisis are things we should be doing anyways.

One more from the highlight reel:

Do you want crystal clear, beautiful lakes and rivers? Fresh crisp flowing air? Homes and towns that live respectfully in accord with our natural environment and how we were meant to be?

I do.

If you just want to not blow up, okay, but that's a weird thing to focus on.

The best way to not have a heart attack is for the bar to be a little higher than "no heart attack", and to be thinking in general about how to be healthy and a good solid version of yourself. And then in turn you're less likely to have the crisis.

If I was raping and pillaging the planet and profiting off of such things, knowing that there's a sort of "pull" or "veracity" that draws people to care about our environment, I'd do this:

I'd exaggerate it.

I'd want to pull the energy that tends to be concerned about environmental things into this dichotomy of whether or not there's a crisis.

I'd want people to argue about jet streams, rather than the default where our behavior and impact is how we feel like we're protecting the environment.

And now there's less energy involved in the practical baby steps and methods that add up and snowball into a real difference and a greener paradigm.

The ruse, I think, is not about getting tax dollars or THE GLOBALISTS PLOTTING TO TAKE TOTAL CONTROL!!!. But rather, this is simply the best way for the entrenched interests to delay the tipping point and continue business as usual for a little longer.

You heard it here first.

please share, like, subscribe, tell your mom, and tune out to the hysteria and in to real things you can do that improve yourself and the people around you

The things you do that are healthy for your native planet will naturally be good for you and reward you somehow. Practical steps. That's the highest octane thing you can do with your concern.

And multiple people behaving this way adds up in ways that we don't necessarily anticipate ahead of time. (That's what the entrenched interests don't want.)

Thanks bro 😭

Got the beginning of some showtunes in the replies

showtunes

looks like he deleted one of them!!

I flagged one, thanked one for their kind words, and ignored one. The one that I ignored is now gone.

bahahaaah, how bizarre!

I love it.

I was watching the game and once Rodgers came back, I just knew they will turn it around. Great game though. I liked Mack too in first half. I’ve heard they traded him because β€œhe” didn’t want to be there. Great post about climate. I agree!
And I just hope we wouldn’t have to wait another 50 years for bitcoin and ETH to prove itself. I want to live it through, to be part of the history.

Ya! For the record, I'm saying ETH will not prove itself :p

Even if smart contracts become really common I just doubt that ETH needs to be involved at all. (I don't think it's like Bitcoin, where the first try seems likely to work because what it is, is a mathematical property and there aren't meaningful improvements.) I doubt it will completely disappear. But, no ceiling lots of floor.

There probably are so few people in the world who will agree with all sections of this post lol.
