Week 15 Results - Playoffs - Semi-Finals

With only 4 teams left in the Playoffs, this was sure to be a great week! The cream has risen to the top, but this was not the week that I expected in terms of how close these matchups would ultimately be. At the end of the day, the top 2 seeds won and will be facing off in the Championship for the Dan Larimer Trophy!

This matchup was exactly the shootout that we expected as the teams combined to score over 300 points this week. The difference in this game came down to the tight ends. Harambes Revenge @kryptocek's tight end Jimmy Graham, only scored one point while Evan Engram for @paradise-found scored 18 points. Overall the consistency of the wide receivers for Harambes Revenge @kryptocek was there as each of the receiver scored at least 16 points. Kenyan Drake contributed 23 points at running back this week for Harambes Revenge @kryptocek and Aaron Rodgers, fresh off his injury came back and had a 22-point performance to keep Harambes Revenge @kryptocek in it. When it was all said and done the running backs for @paradise-found carried him once again. Besides last week, Kareem Hunt had been quiet over the past few weeks, but he absolutely went off this week for the Chiefs. I projected Le'Veon Bell to score at least 20 points and he scored 27.5 for the Steelers in their wild game against the Patriots. The Ravens defense had another top-notch effort for @paradise-found as they scored 20 points against the Browns. Congrats to @paradise-found for reaching the finals as you have had the best team all year!! P.S. Here is a crazy stat for you all - For possibly the first time in fantasy football history, a team (Harambes Revenge @kryptocek) has scored the exact number points, down to the hundredth decimal, this week (142.00) as he did last week.

Fantasy football is an interesting game for sure. It is all about matchups and some luck. For @Shenanigator, he did not get that lucky this week as Antonio Brown left the game with an injury and Devin Funchess only had one catch. As a whole the receiving unit for @Shenanigator was a huge letdown. The four receivers that he started combined for only 28 points. On the bench, @Shenanigator had Randall Cobb and Marquise Goodwin who each scored over 20 points. The bright spot for @Shenanigator this week was Cam Newton as he scored 31 points but it was not enough to upset A team has no name @boatsports90. @Shenanigator's efficiency rating was only 71.8%, while the efficiency rating for a team was 100%. Jimmy Garoppolo got his first start of the year for A team has no name @boatsports90 and did not disappoint. Although Keenan Allen was relatively held in check, Melvin Gordon balled out as he scored 29 Points on 169 all purpose yards and one touchdown for A team has no name @boatsports90. The kickers were equal but it was the impressive play from the skill position players that gave A team has no name @boatsports90 the victory.
