Week 4 Results

We are down to 1. 1 undefeated team that is. Congrats to @mikeshuh being the last remaining undefeated team. Now 4 weeks through the season and the injury bug has started to strike some teams. In the "NFC Division" the last place team is only 1 game back of first place, while in the "AFC Division" the third place team is 2 games back of first place. Take a look at the standings. This week saw two perfect efficiency ratings (picking every starter correctly). Per Elias Sports Bureau, this is only the third occurence since 2005.

This game was labeled game of the week for good reason as this matchup came down to the wire. The Chiefs defense needed to hold strong and just not blow. They did not and thus @NiketheMutt came away victorious. Althought the Patriots lost, Tom Brady's stats were still quite impressive as he scored 20 points for @NiketheMutt. Other than Tom Brady, no single player had a monster game. Only one player other than Tom Brady scored a touchdown, Davante Adams, but the rest of the team for @NiketheMutt had solid weeks. James White and LeSean McCoy each had 13+ points and helped seal the win for @NiketheMutt. We saw the first perfect efficiency rating of 2017 as @NiketheMutt picked every starter correctly! Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 got a massive game from Deshaun Watson, who is battling Kareem Hunt for rookie of the year. The downfall for Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 was his running back unit as Mike Gillislee and Marshawn Lynch combined for only six points. Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 missed on his defense as well as the Cowboys contributed a "-2" on the scoreboard. If Deshaun Watson continues his play, watch for Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91.

@sevinwilson vs Nic Nasty @nicnas

In the preview for week 4, the prediction came in that Nic Nasty @nicnas would hand @sevinwilson his first loss of the season. This prediction was more than true as Nic Nasty @nicnas BLEW OUT @sevinwilson. @sevinwilson was struck with the injury bug during week 4. Running Back Dalvin Cook has a torn ACL and is out for the season. Prayers up to my fellow Seminoles. Marcus Mariota left the game early for the Tennessee Titans with a hamstring injury and Julio Jones left during the Falcons game with a back injury for @sevinwilson. The only bright spot for @sevinwilson was Todd Gurley who amassed 34.5 points. Other than that, it was a tough week for @sevinwilson. Nic Nasty @nicnas went for the jugular early on in week 4 as Drew Brees and Micheal Thomas combined for 41 points in the early Sunday game as the Saints took on the Dolphins in London. Ezekiel Elliot appeared to be back to his normal self as he scored two touchdowns for Nic Nasty @nicnas. The Seahawks defense has always been a tough one as they obliterated the Colts and scored 23 points for Nic Nasty @nicnas.

Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough vs @paradise-found

This game was locked up prior to the Monday night matchup between Kansas City and Washington. Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough had one of the highest scoring totals during week 4, but he faced off against the machine, @paradise-found. Dak Prescott, who had played subpar during the first few weeks, score 23 points for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough. In case you guys forgot Lamar Miller, he made sure you remembered he still has it as he scored 29 points for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough in the Texans blowout against the Titans. The injury to Sammy Watkins in week 3 limited his production this week as he only had one reception for 17 yards for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough. The only word I can say about @paradise-found is BEAST. He had one of the best weeks in fantasy football that I have ever seen. Every starter on his team scored in double figures. @paradise-found was led by Le'Veon Bell with 34.6 points and Russell Wilson who added 27.6 more points. His Green Bay Packers put on a showing as they smacked the bears. Great week @paradise-found! We saw the second perfect efficiency rating of 2017 as @paradise-found picked every starter correctly!

Rico's Raiders @richq11 vs @mikeshuh

If there was a week @mikeshuh was going to go down, it may have been this week. They keyword here was "if" as @mikeshuh managed to pull out the win against Rico's Raiders @richq11. Demaryius Thomas had an underwhelming week for Rico's Raiders @richq11 as he had only one completion on five targets during week 4. Each of the running backs for Rico's Raiders @richq11, Devonta Freeman, Frank Gore, and Jordan Howard, each scored over 10 points, but it was not enough to push him over the edge. Rico's Raiders @richq11 needed a monster game from Alex Smith and Jamison Crowder on Monday night, but he did not get the production he needed from Jamison Crowder in order to upset @mikeshuh. @mikeshuh got almost more production out of his bench than his starters, but it did not matter. Bilal Powell (29 points), Wendell Smallwood (18 points), Travis Kelce (24 points), and Terrelle Pryor (16 points) all had incredible games for @mikeshuh, but were on the bench. In case you didn't know, Aaron Rodgers continued to do Aaron Rodgers things for @mikeshuh as he remained 4-0 and the sole undefeated team in the league.

Gators @tom74 vs Harambes Revenge @kryptocek

By looking at some of the crazy numbers Gators @tom74 put up this week from some of his players you would have almost guaranteed him a victory. Duke Johnson (21 points), Alvin Kamara (25.6 points), and Jordy Nelson (23.5) points scored the majority of the points for Gators @tom74 this week. The rest of his team did not hold suit including Matt Ryan who only scored 8.5 points and DeSean Jackson who added only 4 points for Gators @tom74. Harambes Revenge @kryptocek only had two players score over 20 points, but the consistancy won the day for him. Only two of his starters scored less than 9 points. The Buffalo Bills upset the Atlanta Falcons, partly due to the effort of Charles Clay and Harambes Revenge @kryptocek was happy about this as he scored 16 points. Jameis Winston led the Bucs back in comeback fashion as they beat the giants in the fourth quarter. Along the way Jameis scored 26.5 points for Harambes Revenge @kryptocek.

@Shenanigator vs A team has no name @boatsports90

This matchup was highly anticipated and would go down to the wire. Had Larry Fitzgerald not scored the game winning touchdown in OT for the Cardinals, this matchup may have been decided by only a couple points. @Shenanigator got great output from his running backs as Leonard Fournette scored 24.5 points and Carlos Hyde added another 14.5 points. @Shenanigator needed a bigger game from the Jacksonville Jaguars than what he got. Marquise Lee only scored 3.8 points and Marcedes Lewis contributed 0 points for @Shenanigator. Safe to say - the Jaguars being the Jaguars. A team has no name @boatsports90 only had five starters score in double figures, but this was enough to get him the weekly win. Andy Dalton went off he was playing back in the Big 12 for TCU again as he threw for 4 touchdowns and scored 28 points for A team has no name @boatsports90. Larry Fitzgerald was the only skill player to score a touchdown for A team has no name @boatsports90, but this was enough for him to be victorious.
