Yes it is the 1st of December!
Just in case that hasn't sunk in yet. Apart from the festivities December is a great time for football lovers with games galore. For fantasy managers the trick is to guess the rotation game. Many fell prey to the rotation from managers this week.
Plenty of positives midweek that fantasy managers can look into implementing. Everton look like they've finally received the kick they needed with a super performance in midweek, which also boasted one of the best premier league goals ever scored by Wayne Rooney! Sublime technique! Mo Salah is just on fire at the moment and not even being on the bench for most of the game could stop the Eqyptian from scoring a brace. Arsenal looked a solid team with most of the injuries beneath them and Mesut Ozil producing an absolutely brilliant performance, there is plenty to ponder if you are a fantasy manager.
3 Week Outlook
This will be done every second week. Below is the link for last weeks 3 week look :)
One's To Watch
Mesut Ozil- Arsenal finally look like they've found some consistency and if there's anything we do know, it's this is the period they do go on a run before everything falls down. In the 4 games that Ozil has started with Sanchez and Lacazette, he has scored 2 and assisted 5! As long as the 3 of them are fit, I would keep my eye on Mesut Ozil.
Charlie Austin- Southampton have been yearning for a goal scorer for a very long time! In Charlie's first start of the season he produced 2 goals. He looked sharp and hungry like the old Austin and if he gets a consistent run in the team, be sure to keep an eye on him.
Wayne Rooney- Many believe that his playing days are beneath him, but Rooney showed just why he can be still so good. Everton will be in need of more performances like that and under Big Sam, you can bet on Wayne to hit some form. Especially after that beautiful halfway liner! Seriously guys if you haven't seen it, go see it.
Captain Picks
Eden Hazard- Eden Hazard fell prey to some rotation from Antonio Conte but the Belgian is bound to be back with a vengeance after Chelsea struggled in midweek. I'm banking on a double digit performance from him.
Mo Salah- With the form the Egyptian Messi is in, yes they call him that now, he can't be left out of a considered Captains pick.
Kevin De Bruyne- In my opinion he is City's best player, with a low West Ham visiting, he could be the one to demolish some points.
Raheem Sterling- He has been is some form this season with 9 goals and 4 assists . He's form over the last 2 games is even scarier. There is only one concern though when coming to picking him as a captain and that is rotation.
