Is it just me or has this Gameweek taken way tooo long to get here!

Hello everybody and welcome to my Gameweek 23 review. With so much activity already in the transfer market and some good football coming up things are certainly heating up! This weekend has the promise of an amazing match up on Sunday between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield!

Liverpool have not lost to Manchester City at Anfield in 15 years! Manchester City on the other hand have not done the double over Liverpool since the 1930's. If that's not enough, City have yet to lose a game this season and Liverpool is the next team with the least losses this campaign, only losing twice! Get those hot wings ready, because Sunday Liverpool take on City in what promises to be a highly entertaining game!

One's to Watch

Jesse Lingard- It's no surprise that the United attacker is on the one's to watch list. Having been the lead for United bagging 4 goals and 1 assist in his last 5, Lingard is proving to be pivotal in United's attack. He also seems to score the all important game deciding goals.

Virgil Van Dijk- The most expensive defender of all time looked like he was breading confidence in a very impressive Merseyside Derby debut. He is definitely looking a threat in the air and with Liverpool boasting the best home defensive record at 5.4M Van Dijk could be a real steal.

Captain Picks

Harry Kane- It's very difficult to ignore Harry for any gameweek and this home game could see him score his first goals for the new year.

Paul Pogba- Maybe not the most common choice, but it's hard to ignore a United player for the home game against Stoke(worst away defensive record this season). That being said Pogba gets my vote because he is due a goal but it could easily be Lingard or Lukaku.

Eden Hazard- There's mixed feelings surrounding the belgium maestro at the moment but a home game against Leicester and he really could be the one to deliver.

That's all from me this time round!

Goodluck to all this gameweek!
