Hey everyone what an amazing week 8 for SGL! We have had a heap of fantastic entries this week and I know our judges were again struggling to settle on their selections, but we got there in the end (for the most part anyways)/

Unfortunately this week @pechichemena hasn't been able to join us, we can only assume things have gotten harder for him to get online. So we send him our love and best wishes in the hopes things calm down and he can rejoin us again soon <3

"Ohhhh lovely this was just phenomenal, I was completely hooked form the instant you started and it just kept on getting better and better!

I have missed that stunning voice of yours, just so jam packed with emotion. Not to mention the vocal gymnastics, the vocal range and the control you display throughout. How can such a big voice come out of one so small, that goes for the range as well you can go rather deep as well.

But it is you just look so relaxed throughout, like it was all to easy and I must say this is a difficult song to perform. Lots of breath work and support required for those trills and the build in the middle as well, all moments when breath is a paramount focus for perfect delivery and that's exactly what you did.

Not to mention you do this all whilst sitting down, now for anyone who knows me I'm always telling singers to stand up so they have more space. Space equals breath and support, without it there is not much singers can do to hit the big notes, do fancy runs or hold a note or belt it out, its crucial however you just smashed it out like sitting was no thing.

I am just so in awe of some of those stunning vocal trills, just stunning on every level lovely you just dominated this week. This is a brilliant performance, a fantastic song choice for yourself - all round bloody amazing delivery, I had no option but to place you first this week.

I am really so beyond happy you found us and decided to join, I was a big fan of yours from the Open Mic days - so absolutely thrilled to have you with us now and I hope to see more from you and soon <3"

"Firstly brilliant song choice, I absolutely adore this song and have considered doing an acapella version. But this was just divine you have such an incredible voice, I was blown away as I listened.

I do wonder though a couple of times it felt as though you were rushed but your delivery matched the original, so I think your backing track was speeding up at inopportune moments. But in spite of that you really smashed it out beautifully, and this is one crazy demanding song to say the least.

I do want to mention that with this song I think it hits your break a little early (nothing wrong with that we can't help were our breaks are, from chest to head), but what I really wanted was to hear you belt it out and whilst there definitely is more intense moments. I would love to hear you in your chest voice, just belt that tune out with all the gusto you can manage and then do the flip up into head voice for the angelic trail off.

It's a stylistic choice and more because I really want to hear you go full power lol, obviously I loved your entry hence the place - but I want to ensure I can give some suggestions or ideas on where you could take things next time :P

But generally you are on pitch and on point, it is an extremely demanding song and you mastered it and presented it beautifully. I was so happy to see another entry from you and really hope we keep seeing more <3"

Now I couldn't find a comment from @fenngen on why he chose @ylich's entry, but I did notice he had 3 total nominations this week. So that is just fantastic to see, but given we were missing the comment I figured I would use another positive comment from his post in it's place.
