It was on sale.
The hardware store is trying to move its Summer inventory. Lawnmowers were on sale too. Probably to make room for snowblowers and snow shovels..🤦♀️.

I would definitely need to have a nice soft cushion. There is no padding on my butt or body...!! Also the bench would be very hot if it was placed in direct sun like it is in the photo.
