This photo was taken at my friend's cabin. I had almost given up hope that I was going to be able to find window shadow for this week's entry.
My friend and I were chatting away when all of sudden a breeze from out of the west blew the two unlocked windows open and there it was !!
My friend immediately pick up on my excitement as I quickly started taking pictures. The sun was in and out all day with the many passing clouds. I had to act fast.
The above photo I edited. I was trying to give it the affect/feel the shadow was cast from an outside street lamp or a full moon.

It was a pretty cool happening !!!!!
It really wasn't a gust. Kinda of a strong breeze came out of the west. The cabin is quite old. If you dont lock the window it will easily open inward.

@annephilbrick The shadow picture is awesome but my mind goes to the floor and wonders the feet that have walked on it. I had oak floors in my old house they were beautiful like this floor.

The floors are indeed very old. The cabin is too...!
My friend inherited it from her parents. It's located on a beautiful little not to far from me.
I love wooden floors. A warm charm to them. The floor is southern yellow pine. I have oak and pine floors in my cabin.

@annephilbrick That is awesome for both of you, to have homes with such rich memories. My floors were in the house that was taken from me by the county-- eminent domain. The 05 hurricanes flooded the house and my floors curved up with all the water, we sanded them until they were flat again, then stained and a clear coat. They were beautiful, then they tore the house down. As you can tell, I still have bitterness about it.

My pleasure! Yes, shadows make things look much more interesting by giving them depth and a refreshing new look -- except for those yucky shadows underneath ones eyes from lack of sleep. Those are not welcomed.
